The skin of the upper lip is very thin and is subjected to a lot of movement due to mouth expressions—such as laughing, drinking, eating, etc. Additionally, this type of wrinkle is closely related to age and is rarely seen before the age of 40, making prevention crucial.

The anti-wrinkle treatment for the upper lip involves the application of hyaluronic acid to the depressed area, visibly reducing the wrinkle. In cases of early-stage wrinkles, hyaluronic acid provides excellent results. The treatment is performed under topical or local anesthesia to minimize discomfort. Typically, a small amount of hyaluronic acid (1 ml) is sufficient, although if the wrinkles are very deep and severe, combining hyaluronic acid filler with other treatments such as laser or botulinum toxin may be necessary.

There are usually no side effects except for minor discomfort or slight swelling during the first 48 hours after the product is applied.
